Mrs. Lyon's Class Blog

I graduated from Chadron State College (Nebraska) in 2005 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education.  I am dually certified to teach general education (K-8) and special education (K-12) and just this last summer I finished my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Eduction from the University of Alaska Anchorage, meaning I can now work with students from birth until they reach age 22!

This is my seventh year of teaching and I absolutely love being a preschool teacher!  My first teaching job was as the resource teacher in the high school.  I was there for six years, and though I enjoyed my job and the students I was ready for something completely different! I am very passionate about special education and have a strong drive to help my students succeed by meeting their goals, make extraordinary gains and be prepared for whatever their future may hold.
